This may be just a blip in the world of Kobe Bryant’s NBA, but it’s big news for V-Town. According to the CoCo Times, DeMarcus Nelson has officially inked a deal with the Dubs.
Well, the Vallejo native (born in Oakland) actually spent his senior year of high school in Sac-Town. In fact, he averaged 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists at Sheldon High. Whatever. Thizz Nation needs a hero.
The former Blue Devil captain had a good showing in Summer League play for the Warriors and draft reports tout his versatility as a combo shooting guard/small forward. Sighting his accuracy shooting the three ball. And, his weakness relying on it. No matters, Mac Drizzelle, sayz fo’ shizzle.
