Never fear, the underdog is here (again).

false sense of despair

Members of Club 200 reflect on the Cleveland Cavaliers game.
Tuesday, November 6th. Bay Area Rapid Transit. 10:30ish PM.

I was there. Up-close and personal. It was a tough loss. Brutal even. For me, harder then the Jazz debacles or that airball of a game against the Brand-less Clips.

Have we considered that maybe the spotlight just doesn’t suit this team. Could this be a part of the master plan? I mean, if winning is expected, then how do we get to have those sweet, sweet upsets? Perhaps they’ve got us just where they want us. Second guessing their potential. Even questioning of what “we believe”. For all one knows, it may be the fire that drives them.

I see Mr. Ostler is doing his part. “It’s Baron Davis and… Players who still get their mail forwarded from the D-League”. These guys are too small. They’re out matched. They can’t stop anyone inside. Don Nelson is mad.

It could be that all this banter is just playing right into their hands. Helping recast the Dubs as the underdogs. Reset the stage, as it were. Look to the Laws of Power. So many apply.

Law 03: Conceal your Intentions.
Law 17: Keep Others in Suspended Terror : Cultivate an Air of Unpredictability.
Law 35: Master the Art of Timing.
Law 37: Create Compelling Spectacles.
Law 46: Never appear too Perfect.

Just a few convincing losses. Perchance, just enough to lull Dallas false sense of security and set the stage for the unbridled happiness to follow.

We shall see.
Gd.
